If you were not out of this world you probably know about the series of earthquakes that devasted Central Italy on August 24. A 6.2-magnitude earthquake was recorded at 3:36 in the morning near the city of Accumoli, leaving about 400 people injured and killing almost 300.
In order to help these people, Ferrari has decided to build one last LaFerrari, the number 500, to be sold at auction — As you know, the LaFerrari was thought to be limited to 499 units only.
All money raised will be to benefit the people of central Italy affected by the earthquake on the 24th of August.
The production of the LaFerrari ended officially last year and now the guys in Maranello are preparing themselves for the assembly of the open-top LaFerrari revealed in July.
