Yeah, Saleen is back.
Do you remember the Saleen S7? If you are a fan of this American supercar or, who knows, want to buy one, good news for you. Saleen has announced it’ll build other seven units of its S7 supercar.
The news came from the 20th Annual Saleen Show and Open House where Steve Saleen, founder of Saleen Automotive, said they will build a special edition of the car called S7 Le Mans.
The LM Special edition celebrates the victory at 2010 Le Mans by the French team Larbre Competition with a Saleen ST-7 in the LMGT-1 class.
About the car, well, the new Saleen S7 Le Mans will come with a 7.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine able to deliver 1000hp and the exterior will feature some exposed carbon fiber. Furthermore, the cars will have advanced electronics as well as a new suspension. All units will be hand built at Saleen’s Corona, CA headquarters and will have a price tag of $1 million.
