Pagani Huayra Roadster Finally Revealed, and It Looks Amazing
After all these years waiting for the Pagani Huayra Roadster, the convertible god of wind has finally been revealed.
Pagani has finally revealed its top-down masterpiece based on the Huayra Coupe released in 2011. Yeah, the Huayra Roadster is not just a coupe with a removable top, Pagani took six years to create this beautiful beast with the purpose to be even better than its coupé counterpart.
Since the beginning, Pagani wanted to create a roadster lighter than the coupé (the roadster being heavier than the coupé is almost a rule), and yeah Pagani created it. The Huayra Roadster weighs (dry) 1280 kg (2821 lbs), about 80 kg (176 lbs) less than coupé.

Powered by a Mercedes-AMG 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine built especially for Pagani, the Huayra Roadster has benefited from the research and development done for the Huayra BC and it gained a boost in power. The car generates a total power of 764 hp at 6200rpm while the maximum torque is over 1000NM already available at 2400rpm.
Not just the engine gained improvements for the Huayra BC, the aerodynamics too, and like the track-focused god of wind, the roadster version generates a lateral force of 1.8G, the highest lateral acceleration ever seen on a car with road tires.
Although Pagani has not revealed the performance numbers yet, we know the 764hp reaches the road thanks to a seven-speed X-track gearbox which is about 40% lighter than the standard dual clutch. In touch with the asphalt is a set of Pirelli PZero Corsa measuring 21-inch at the rear and 20-inch at the front created for the Pagani Huayra Roadster whereas a set of Brembo calipers with 380×34 mm and a 6-piston caliper in the front and 380×34 mm, 4-piston caliper at the rear take the responsibility for stopping this monster.

Two types of roofs are available for the top-down God of Wind which comes with standard doors. One of them is a very light carbon hardtop with a central glass element while the other one is a fabric and carbon cover that can be easily installed manually and can be stored inside of Huayra Roadster, just in case of some emergency.

Only 100 units of the Pagani Huayra Roadster will be built each one costing €2,280,000. Oh, if you have this amount in your pocket and you are interested in having one, unfortunately for you, all units have already been sold.
