Lamborghini Releases the Roadster version of the Aventador S
Nowadays every time a coupe is presented you can be sure that a convertible version of it gonna come out soon. The Lamborghini Aventador S Roadster doesn’t let me lie.
Lamborghini released the facelift of its successful V12 model, the Lamborghini Aventador S, at the end of the last year and now the Italian automaker shows off the roadster version of it.
The Lamborghini Aventador S Roadster is practically identical to the coupé, except for some “minor” details. Such as the coupé, the Aventador S Roadster comes with a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine putting 740 horsepower on the road and a top speed of 217 mph (350 km/h).

Of course, the Roadster version ables you to remove the top (a two-piece hard top in carbon fiber like the Aventador Roadster and all the other Roadster versions based on the V12 bull) but it has gained 110 pounds of weight (50 kg) which slows its acceleration down in a tenth of a second.
To ride in a 740hp V12 machine feeling the wind blowing over your head it’s not a cheap thing, the Lamborghini Aventador S Roadster has a base price of $460,247, almost 40k more expensive than the coupé.
