Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster is a top-down golden Beast

Lamborghini showcases another raging bull in its convertible form. If you thought that the Huracan EVO Spyder was the only topless aggressive bull to come out of Sant’agata Bolognese early this year you thought wrong that here it is, shining like gold, the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster.

Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster: Because style

Released in a beautiful Oro Elios paint, the Aventador SVJ Roadster is the convertible personification of the Aventador SVJ introduced in August last year. You know, every single supercar these days have or will have a convertible version.

With only 800 units planned to come out of the Lamborghini factory, the SVJ Roadster is nothing less than the regular coupe with a detachable hardtop (you can choose in carbon fiber) but, impressive enough, It looks even better.

Similarly to the coupe, the roadster version comes with the Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva 2.0 increasing aggressively its aerodynamic. That’s the reason why the Aventador SVJ set 6:44.97 on Nurburgring last year. Yeah, that insane body and big air intakes have a reason.

“There’s only one adjective to describe the SVJ Roadster: unrivaled.”

Beneath the carbon fiber body lies the good-old 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine with 770 ponies and 720 Nm of torque to push it from zero to 100 km/h in the blink of an eye (in slow motion). Actually, after pressing deep the gas the power reaches all four wheels through its 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, it takes only 2.9 seconds to reach 100km/h and 8.8 seconds to display 200 km/h on its speedometer. The top speed is 351 km/h (218 mph).
