Lamborghini Sián revealed: A very limited hybrid raging bull

Lamborghini Sián has been revealed with 819 hp and an insane design.

Lamborghini took a while to enter in the “electrification” world but with the new Sián, you can glimpse a hybrid bull.

Based on the Lamborghini Aventador, the new Sián (which means thunderbolt in Bologna’s dialect, by the way) is what Lamborghini is calling “Few Off”, an insane model with a very limited number of units available.

Inside out, the new Lamborghini Sián comes powered by a 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V12 engine, now, generating 785 hp at 8500rpm and a peak torque of 720Nm at 6750rpm delivered to all wheels through a 7-speed gearbox. The electric motor, coming directly out of the gearbox, adds 34hp and 38Nm to the rear wheels during shifting and at accelerations. Top speed is over 350 km/h (217 mph) and a 0-100 km/h (62mph) acceleration is done in less than 2.7 seconds.

Talking about the design, the new Lamborghini Sián is inspired by the Countach. The front end features Y-shaped headlights inspired by the Terzo Millennio concept car as well as lots of air intakes. You can see the aggressive look o the rear end featuring new exhaust tips and taillights, all with the hexagon shape looking awesome as heck.

The new Sián also features an electrochromic roof and moving surfaces controlled by smart materials and we can forget that insane active rear wing.

These flaps open autonomously when the temperature around the exhausts rises too much, without the aid of electric controls and sensors, using only the thermal distortion of the material.”
