No, it has no name yet
The Moncalieri-based company, Italdesign Automobili Speciali, has released the first pictures of its very limited supercar.
The new brand focuses on ultra-limited cars and it is bringing the first one to Geneva Motor Show with only five units to be built by the end of 2017. The car does not have a name by now and it’s being called “the Geneva 2017 car”.
Italdesign didn’t reveal much about the car. One of the things the Italian brand lets us know about the mid-mounted supercar is the heart which gives life to the beast. A 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine which is able to push the car from zero to 62 mph in 3.2 seconds and takes it to a top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph). The bodywork is entirely in carbon fiber.
“The development of the one-off was based on the know-how achieved in the designing of hundreds of cars in our 49-years history – Italdesign Chief Technical Officer Antonio Casu said. “To reach the timing target we applied the latest CAx and Simulation Technologies. Styling has been integrated since the very beginning with early engineering and production processes. All this allowed us to produce a state-of-the-art car in terms of performance and safety.”
