Italian company founded by Giorgetto Giugiaro and Aldo Mantovani in 1968, Italdesign, will bring the roadster version of its insane Zerouno supercar to this year’s Geneva Motor Show.
The Italdesign Zerouno Roadster is very similar to the coupe version, released at GIMS last year, but with the top down.
The Zerouno (both variants) is based on the chassis of the Audi R8 V10 Plus and it has a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 heart beating beneath the carbon fiber body.
With 602 horsepower reaching the asphalt through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, the Zerouno Roadster probably has the same specs as the coupe, maybe it is a little bit slower in accelerations and a bit heavier.
Oh, the Zerouno coupe can accelerate from zero to 100km/h (62 mph) in 3.2 seconds while the top speed is about 330 km/h, or 205 mph.
Perhaps the figures above won’t impress you, but I’m sure the price will.
The Italdesign Zerouno Roadster is limited to just 5 units, each one by the bagatelle of something around $2.4 million, including taxes. If you’re interested, hurry up, ’cause two of them have been sold already.
