McLaren increased the displacement of the engine a little bit and the new 720S carries a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine able to develop 720 horsepower (710bhp) and 770 NM (568 lb-ft) of maximum torque.

With this amount of power, the 720S is said to take just 2.9 seconds to reach 62mph and 7.8 seconds to reach 124 mph. Talking about the top speed, the new McLaren 720S hit 212 mph (341 km/h).
