If you like the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, show that smile ’cause Porsche shows off the 2019 version of it.
Yeah, what is good can always be better and Porsche makes this clear in the new GT3 RS.
The 2019 version comes with the good old 4.0-liter naturally aspirated Boxer 6 able to produce 520 horsepower at 9000rpm and a maximum torque of 346 lb-ft at 6200rpm delivered to the rear wheels through the seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission.
With a curb weight of 3,153 lbs (1430 kg), the new Porsche 911 GT3 Rs accelerates from inertia to 62 mph in 3.2 seconds while it covers a quarter-mile in 10.9 seconds. The maximum velocity is 193 mph (312 km/h).
The Porsche 911 GT3 RS is an animal with one habitat in mind, the track. And, to help this predator catch up with its prey (lap time), the aerodynamics of the new 911 GT3 RS has been improved with an optimized front spoiler, NACA ducts as well as Louvres above the front wheels.
As standard, the new 911 GT3 RS comes fitted with a magnesium roof, but with the optional $18k Weissach package you can change it for exposed carbon fiber.

Furthermore, with the Weissach Package, the front lid such as the rear wing comes in a lightweight material, as well. The package with optional magnesium alloy wheels saves approximately 25.3 lb (11.5 kg).
The brand new Porsche 911 GT3 RS has a suggested price of $187,500.00, excluding taxes and everything else.
