Rimac Reveals its Concept_Two

If you thought that the Rimac Concept_One was an innovative beast with staggering figures when it came out back in 2016 at the Geneva Motor Show, the new Rimac Concept_Two will impress you even more.

Starting with the power, as teased, the all-electric machine generates a total of 1914hp (1408 kW) and 2300 Nm (1696 lb-ft) of torque. The Four electric motors are fed by a 120 kWh battery pack guaranteeing a maximum range of 650 km (403 miles).

Although the Rimac Concept_Two has almost two tons of weight, 1.950 kg (4299 lb) to be exact, it boasts a jaw-dropping performance. Mate Rimac’s C_Two will accelerate from zero to 62mph (100 km/h) in just 1.97 seconds (0-60 is done in 1.85s) and it’ll surpass the 400 km/h (248 mph) barrier with a top speed of 412 km/h (258 mph).

For an aerodynamic purpose, the new Rimac C_Two boasts, besides the rear wing, several active parts as the front splitter, hood, rear diffuser as well as underbody inlets and outlets able to be set up for maximum downforce or for a top speed run.

The new lightweight forged alloy wheels design channels cooling air to the carbon-ceramic braking system and ensures smooth airflow down the flanks of the car.

The new Rimac Concept_Two also features Advanced driver assistance systems. “From collision risk prediction allied to automatic braking and evasive control, to blind-spot monitoring, to lane-keep assist and fully adaptive cruise control including traffic pilot functionality. The car will even adapt according to the prevalent weather conditions, changing strategy during, for example, fog or heavy rain.”

The price of the C_Two is unknown yet, but don’t expect anything less than seven figures for each one of the 150 limited editions
