If you think that the Bugatti Chiron isn’t insane enough, here I present to you the brand new Bugatti Divo.
Continuing the tradition of naming its hypercars with the name of its racing drivers, Bugatti brings another insane hypercar to the world, now homaging Albert Divo.
The brand new Bugatti Divo is just like a track-focused Chiron. It features a completely new design thinking mainly on cornering but with that monstrous 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16 engine pumping 1500 hp in the back.
As said, the new Bugatti Divo is powered by the same W16 engine as the Chiron, the top speed though is limited to “only” 380 km/h (236mph) to protect the tires. The Chiron is limited to 420 km/h (260 mph).
The Bugatti claims a weight reduction of 35kg (77 pounds) in comparison to the Chiron as well as a higher lateral acceleration (1.6g vs 1.5g of the Chiron).
The Bugatti Divo accelerates from standstill to 62 mph in just 2.4 seconds and it is 8 seconds faster than the Chiron around the Nardo handling circuit.
It’s a driver-centristic vehicle created to show performance around the corners. It has a larger front splitter, larger front intakes, insane-looking C-shaped headlights, the characteristic Bugatti center fin featuring NACA air inlets on the top, a big hydraulic rear wing, and a stunning rear end.
The Bugatti Divo’s very distinctive rear has redesigned four-pipe exhaust, functional taillights, and big air outlets.
The Bugatti Divo will be limited to only 40 units worldwide with a staggering price tag of 5 million euros and an “easy-to-comply” requirement. In order to buy one of these, you must have a Chiron in your garage.
Well, even if you can check all these boxes you can’t buy one though, ’cause they all have been sold already.
